EMS companies typically handle component procurement, printed circuit board assembly, and the assembly of electronic modules. The goal is the series-ready production of electronic products based on an existing hardware design.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-01c5d76\" data-block-id=\"01c5d76\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">The core of EMS services is the manufacturing of electronic assemblies. This includes producing or sourcing printed circuit boards, populating the boards with electronic components, and subsequently assembling further components. Surface-mount technology (SMT) or through-hole technology (THT) are typically used for population. Depending on the project scope, EMS service providers also handle the final assembly of complete devices, for example, with cables, connectors, or enclosures.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-373f741\" data-block-id=\"373f741\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">Another important area of responsibility is quality assurance and testing. EMS providers often carry out various testing procedures, including in-circuit tests, functional tests, or end-of-line tests.
